Free Estate Planning Seminar Offered

Trying to understand how to protect your assets and learn about Medicaid eligibility and long-term care/nursing home planning?  Want to make sure your charitable giving strategies meet your financial needs?  Do you understand the critical nature of wills and power of attorney?  Are you interested in minimizing the need for probate and legally avoiding estate taxes?

That’s why Planned Giving for Portage County invites you to attend a free estate planning seminar on Tuesday, September 27 from 6:00 p.m. -   8:00 p.m. at Memories Wedding and Banquet Hall in Plover. Topics to be covered include:   Medicaid and Long-Term Care/Nursing Home Planning, Wills and Power of Attorney, Avoiding Probate, and Charitable Giving. Refreshments will be provided and pre-registration is recommended, even though the seminar is free.

This free estate-planning seminar is open to the public and co-sponsored by the law firm of Anderson, O’Brien, Bertz, Skrenes & Golla (www.andlaw.com) and Planned Giving for Portage County (www.plannedgivingportagecounty.org).  Refreshments and support material will be provided. The seminar will end with a question and answer session. Attorneys Torren K. Pies, Amy J. Eddy, and Keith J. Pilger will be presenting.
